Vert Food Classes/Sessions

ONLINE classes are schedules on a secure group page.  Content remains for two weeks from time the class is paid.  The classes cover close to 1.5 hours of videos and questions. To sign up, pay below specifying which class you want to join in the notes- skin care, digestion/poop matters, or how to reset your metabolism. 

Invite yourself or UP TO 8 friends to join you for a class of your choice.  Classes will be held at your location unless otherwise agreed upon.  Each class is $200 regardless of # of attendees.*class locations over 20-40 miles outside of SLO city limits will have a $40 travel fee. 40-200 miles has a $150 travel fee.

All classes must be paid for in full prior to the scheduled class day agreement.

Skin Care and Real Food: (ONLINE)

Real food habits and nutrition needing for healthy skin. In addition what actual foods can be used to wash, cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin. The true inside/out of skin care including wrinkles and stretch marks.

Resetting Your Metabolism (ONLINE)

Dismantling the myth that once are metabolism’s set rate goes up, so it slows down, we can’t reset it. We talk specifically about 4 scientific ways to actually get your metabolism firing again.

Sauces, Dips & Dressing, 1.5 hours, includes take home sauces. Learn how to make all your favorite sauces, dips, and dressings without all the junk!  Learn why this is key to your gut health and your meal planning. You will get to go home with mason jars full of creations and tips of how to use your creations to create lots of meals!

Ancient Tradition Chocolate Making, 1.5 hours, includes full sampling, Learn the ancient tradition of true chocolate making with cacao.  Is Chocolate really healthy for you? Yes, if you know how to make the real thing! Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Custard, Truffles, and Almond Butter Cups. . .Learn how to make it along with a workshop on cacao.

Sourdough Bread Making, Advanced or Beginning class, 1.5 hours, includes starter.  Is sourdough better for you?  What happens to the gluten?  What is the history and what does it mean to be wheat intolerant?  Advance techniques and discussion regarding how to make sourdough bread from home.  Includes how to make pizza crust, bagels, waffles and pancakes without fancy equipment or bread ovens.

The Basics of Fermentation, 1.5 hours Need to find a less expensive and more delicious way to have your probiotics to keep your gut healthy? An interactive class teaching you all the reason why we ferment, how to do it, and lets you go home with your own mason jar of sauerkraut! A starting guide on how to make probiotic sodas, kombucha, sourdough bread, and sauerkraut!

Sauerkraut and KimChi Party, 1.5 hours, includes a quart of take home sauerkraut and Kim Chi. We will get together with all the supplies and leave the mess here at our kitchen so you can go home with fresh batches of probiotic rich condiments!

Water Kefir and Ginger Soda Making, 1.5 hours, includes starters and hands-on making and samples.  Learn all the basic including – is there really sugar in the drinks?

Kombucha Soda Making, 1.5 hours, how to craft your own probiotic rich vinegar drink without all the cost or worry of the additives.  You will be provided with a kombucha starter.

Basics of Bone Broth, $ 1.5 hours, includes demo, tastings, and bones to take home.  Learn the reasons and purpose of making bone broth and how to make it taste delicious!

We also will create a Gut Health Series, 6 week class, meeting once a week for you and 8 attendees.  Cost is $125/per person paid in full prior to class start.

Introduction to gut health including a variety of subjects not limited to:

  • stress and cortisol
