Probiotic Ketchup

Say goodbye to store-bought with sugar and other undesirable ingredients:

What you’ll need:

4 cans/jars (6 oz each – 3 cups) of Organic Tomato Paste (or make your own)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or kombucha vinegar

4 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (or 1 teaspoon stevia powder) *we sometimes use blackstrap molasses also for a sweeter thicker ketchup
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

A pinch of each of the following to taste:
* Cayenne Pepper

Put in a pint jar and seal with a cabbage leaf and let ferment on counter for up to 3-5 days.  You should see bubbles.  Remove and throw away cabbage leaves and taste.  Add additional sweetener if needed or increase thickness using  *2 teaspoons chia seeds (for thickness) or arrowroot powder

Store in fridge.
